Pure Raw Honey
Fall 2013
We sell only the best pure raw wildflower honey. We do not use heat when we extract our honey. Raw honey is defined as honey that has been processed without heating. Heating below 120°F is considered in the raw honey range. Raw honey tends to granulate on its own in a short period of time. Granulated/crystallized honey is still good. Heat it up in hot tap water and it will return to normal in a short period of time.
We don't mix honey from different locations or nectar flows. We hope to achieve a variety of unique flavors of honey this way. The native Ozark Mountain Red Buds will be the first to bloom in early April to start the nectar flow. Then the white clover will start blooming early May followed by the blackberry blossoms.
We harvest in July just before the summer dearth and then again in late September.
